Support your gut health.
Did you know that 60% of your body’s immune system lives in the gut? Supporting gut health is critical for a balanced, healthy immune system. You can support your gut health by consuming foods that are rich in probiotics (kimchi and sauerkraut, for example). I recommend a probiotic supplement – especially one that contains prebiotic fiber (the fuel that increases the presence of healthy bacteria in the gut).
Do you get enough vitamin D?
If you’re like 40% of Americans, probably not. Insufficient levels of Vitamin D can result in frequent sickness and infection, fatigue, pain, bone and hair loss, and slow-healing wounds. Vitamin D plays a critical role in many of the body’s essential functions, such as the immune and nervous systems. Food is rarely a sufficient source of vitamin D. And, depending on where you live, you’re probably not getting enough in the form of sunshine right now.
Are you getting enough Omega 3?
Omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil may have benefits beyond potentially supporting brain health -- they could also benefit the immune system, according to university studies. Researchers from Michigan State University and East Carolina University found that fish oil high in the omega-3 fatty acid compound DHA seemed to boost activity of a white blood cell called a B cell, a vital part of the body's immune response. In these studies the DHA-rich fish oil worked in mice in a particular way, prompting researchers to note that these findings could have special applications for people with compromised immune systems. The most important component of the formulation is the DHA, which researchers have identified as a key nutrient in supporting brain wellness. Research has also proven DHA to be essential in brain development at every stage of life.
It is known that Omega-3 DHA makes up 10%-20% of the fatty acids in your brain's cerebral cortex, the part of your brain responsible for memory, attention, emotion, language, and creativity.*
Reasearch is now indicating DHA-rich Omega-3 may also help support the body's immune system.

This powerful Pharmacist formulated unique blend of probiotics and prebiotic fiber is designed to support gut health and brain wellness including mood.
While you might take a probiotic to help with digestion, there’s more research coming out that suggests specially formulated probiotics for the brain could provide significant value to many adults.
Isn’t it interesting how we describe so many cognitive and emotional processes in areas that don’t seem to have anything to do with our brains? Researchers are finding more evidence for the “gut-brain” connection. The gut is actually picking up new nicknames in some circles: the “little brain” or the “second brain.”
Probiotic blends for the brain may be rich in prebiotic fibers, which may promote the growth or activity of probiotic organisms within the body.
Additionally, certain probiotic strains have been demonstrated in clinical trials to benefit mood and coping with occasional anxiety possibly related to stressful experiences.

I've been taking these for a few weeks and have had NO digestion issues. Only been taking them at night because I hear they work best on an empty stomach. I think I can tell a difference in feeling more calm and restful, too.
I suffer from stomach issues and every drug store brand and over the counter probiotic made it so much worse. My Dr. recommended the Probiotic Blend and I have had no stomach issues since switching about 3 months ago. I would recommend this to others.
I am not having bloating, abdominal cramping, and excessive gas since starting this 3 months ago
Insufficient levels of Vitamin D can result in frequent sickness and infection, fatigue, pain, bone and hair loss, and slow-healing wounds.
According to a recent study, 41.6% of adults in the US are Vitamin D deficient. Those numbers increase to 69.2% among Hispanics and 82.1% among African Americans. There are several reasons why so many adults are Vitamin D deficient. Lack of sufficient sun exposure is a leading cause.
Why Does Vitamin D Deficiency Matter?
Vitamin D plays a critical role in many of the body’s essential functions, including support for cellular health and our immune system. Insufficient levels of Vitamin D can result in frequent sickness and infection, fatigue, pain, bone and hair loss, and slow-healing wounds.
Additionally, further studies indicate that Vitamin D plays an important role in supporting brain health and wellness. Recent studies have demonstrated a relationship between Vitamin D deficiency and cognitive decline and other brain health issues.
Vitamin D or the sunshine vitamin is a vital nutrient for the body. It performs several important functions like giving a boost to the immune system, maintaining nervous system and regulating insulin levels.

The days are so short this time of the year... plus i'm in the office all the time! So I started taking vitamin d once a day. I definitely think it's helping my mood and I like knowing that I'm getting good nutrients that my body can't make on its own.
I came across an article about all of the BAD things that can happen to your body when you sit in an office all day and don't get any sunlight! (*inching closer to the window*) So, I picked up this Vitamin D supplement. Took one at lunch, along with my regular afternoon Neuro Alert... I don't "feel" anything different right now, but it's good to know I'm getting the nutrients my body needs!
